Silvana: The Aerialist

Whenever you watch professional athletes play their sport, you can’t help but think, “They make it look so easy!” but when you actually try to do it, you can’t even come close!! Yea, well Silvana made this one hour aerial performance look like a warm up! She moved with such ease, grace and technical skill it was amazing to watch and capture!! This being my very first aerial photo session and performance, I was extremely excited to be apart of this, and Silvana really delivered! We started with silks, then moved to trapezes, and finished with hoops. We had the privilege of using Silvana’s studio for shooting this aerial performance in Liberty Village. This was probably the most fun I’ve ever had in all my photo shoots just because it’s so new, so dynamic, so fast, and breath-taking. I’m extremely pleased with the results we got from this and I’m hoping to do more in the near future! Thank you so much Silvana for giving me this amazing opportunity to photograph you in your aerial studio and I really hope to work with you again! Enjoy.

Esther’s fall family photo session

With the fall colors out and everyone’s spirits up we had a beautiful fall day to take some amazing family pictures of Esther and her family! It had all the elements of a successful photo session: cute baby, new parents, loving couples, proud parents, and some impressive “air shots” that everyone thought of! It was a pleasure meeting all of you!

Yamama’s Fall Family Portrait in Markham

It’s photo sessions like this one that a photographer craves! Tons of props, cute kids, amazing fall colors to work with, different wardrobes, open attitudes, and very easy going personalities made this photo session very special. As soon as I saw Yamama unpack the squash and pumpkins from her bag, I knew this was going to be fun!! With a gorgeous fall day we utilized every single prop (including a blanket and bench) to the maximum. The children had beautiful smiles with their eyes twinkling with bewilderment of all the colors, leaves, pumpkins, corn, and open space they had. All the parents were so co-operative and fun to incorporate into the photos, they really made things enjoyable. I really have to thank the moms for jumping up and down and over me to get the kids to look my way and make them laugh even more. I wish I had more cameras set up just to capture that alone. Thank you everyone and I hope you enjoy your photos!

Amanda, Ivan, Victor and Charlotte’s family fall shoot

We had a beautiful fall afternoon for a family photo shoot at Erindale Park with Amanda and her family! We tried to capture all the fall colors in Erindale Park while climbing some trees, searching for salmon in the river, and enjoying a nice trek along the path! It was a pleasure meeting your family and I hope to make this a tradition every year!! All the best.

High Park Toronto Engagement with Alysse and Steve

It was a perfect fall day when we met Alysse and Steve at High Park in Toronto for their engagement shoot. These two were tons of fun and very open to all sorts of crazy things we had them do! You can see how much in love these two are — they could hardly keep their hands off each other! We took some pictures all around the park, had them have a leaf fight and Steve was such a good sport – he even climbed a tree for us:)Congratulations guys and I hope we have the privilege to shoot your wedding next September!
